Pickel,
Are you talking about the smaller sensors that are angled off 45 degrees - not the larger FLIR and Radome? You already made the FLIR/Radomes a long time ago in both the Army and Airforce versions right?
I only want sensors if I can eventually make a DAP version. I know you're sick of me bringing it up.
Need a M230 Chain Gun, Rocket pod, and new Winglets.
any chance more would want these?
If I could get those new items, I'd also order another set of M134 Gatlins, another Fuel Probe, another set of window inserts, and another FLIR/Radome set (Army version this time) so it would be a substantial package.
Thanks,
Phil

It actually has two versions of the winglets - one with larger winglets that have two weapons pods attachments and a smaller one with only a single attachment (I like the single version and the pictures below are of that). The single version is the one they actually use - I think the double version was a test/prototype version and was found to be too heavy, not manueverable enough.

It looks like the original winglets could be modified. What do you think?

Is the side weapon made already by another manufacturer ?

This would be awesome to do. But everything is just speculation. Other than the sheared off tail that the world has seen.

If you guys wants. I know I do and will settle for an artists rendition . I am there.

Or we can just wait for the 1/44 AKA dinky Chinese versions to come out.

the M230 Chain Gun is used on the Apache as well although it has a different mount. If you have a 1/18 Apache maybe a modified one could be made from that?
The rocket pods may be the same ones on the Kiowa Warriors and the Apache as well?

Hi all,
It's a very cool idea to make these crab eyes (IR detector for ground to air, IR-missiles?) at the front. But I would like PH to also make the seme eyes that are mounted at the tail, as an added piece that extends the vertical fin: it would be a nonsense to have only the front eyes. Im' in for such an add-on.

This post is starting to turn into my last Paveyhawk post. It stated with the fuel boom and ended up with the minis,FLIR,radomes , small winglets,
window frames, ammo cans and what ever else.

I am really NOT savvy on any of the mods you guys talk of . What is DAP ?

Granch, doing the tail boom sensors should be a simple mod. Can you get any more pics.

Is there a model made with all of these add ons ?

I got the( 1/48- 1/35 ? ) Pavehawk model off of ebay when I did that project. Do they have one with the rocket pods and all of the other stuff ?
I have done this in the past . If somebody buys and sends me the model I will take the price off of his order.

Can you guys give me a list of the wants with pics ?

The crab eye sensors will be done. I will make those as I make my customers order. ( He has already paid for them as a "one of" )

If there is more interest in the rest of these mods let me know.

The pavehawk project grew into my best seller. Over 150 kits made  :D

But , I will make the nose sensors only at this time. Once I get all of my back orders done
I REALLY , REALLY NEED TO GET BACK ON THE HORTEN PROJECT.

After that and the Humvee project I will do this project.

IF THERE IS MORE OF A DEMAND

R-Knight pm me with your wants :D

About DAP, Wikipedia says:
MH-60L Direct Action Penetrator (DAP): US Army variant. Special operations modification of the baseline MH-60L, operated by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. The DAP is equipped with ESSS or ETS stub wings, each capable of carrying a M230 Chain Gun 30 mm automatic cannon, rocket pods, and various other armaments. M134D miniguns are used as door guns. 37 MH-60Ls were built and some 10 had received a in-flight refueling probe by 2003.
Followed by the more sophisticated MH-60K.
DAP seems also to be a contraction of IDAP, Integrated Defensive Action Penetrator.

Pickel,
In my previous post, the 4th and 5th pictures down are the Academy 1/35 DAP. I'll check out my Hobby Lobby in the next couple weeks or as soon as the next 40% off coupon comes up and if they have one I'll pick it up and send it to you, then maybe we could get the ball rolling on some of this stuff even if it way in the back of the line so to speak.

Pickel,
I just checked the Hobby Lobby coupon for this week and we're in luck - it's the 40% off any item. Now just have to hope my local one has the DAP 1/35 model in stock. I hope to make it there in the next couple days.

One of my customer have been wanting me to make these going on a year now.

Well they are made !!!

As I was at it I am wanting to make the tail boom sensors. But these pics are all I have to work off of. Dose anybody have any side pics of the sensors on the vertical tail boom ?

The model that Pc sent me does not have the detail.

Pics will be posted later on this evening.
