Real nice. Great paint. Also like the stuff on the table. Could use some more pics of that.

Crazy Kraut,
Very nice job on both the Fw-190 and the P-40! Great stuff as always, I enjoy seeing your work.
I like the Russian "lend lease" P-40 and I thought 21st would have picked this paint scheme as one of their repaints.
Keep up the good work.

Re: winter sky enemies
Like the FW, both look cool
Is the FW the conversion kit from skyworks?
I also am working on one, I dont want to use the same prop and hub as the D because its not right. A major over site by Jack.
I am searching for a solution...
I love JG-54 FWs
Good job

Re: winter sky enemies
Thanks folks
The Fw 190 is completely done by my own. But I´ve bought a Fw190-kit from Jack and decided to built a new one. All decals are made by my own.
Yeah, the stuff on my table!!! I need to keep building my diorama but first I must do some me262 in colours of Walter Schucks Me. He is the top scorer alive and I know him personelly. Want to get his signature on some Me´s (1:18 and 1:32) and signatures from nightfighter ace PETER SPODEN on some me262 Nightfighters at the coming weekend.
I´ll keep on building

Re: winter sky enemies
Some impressions from the last weekend:
Walter Schuck was very happy to see his beloved Stormbird again.
Peter Spoden told me that he really wanted to fly the me262 nightfighter
but never get a chance to feel the jet power. He fought on me110 and Ju88 nightfighters.
But he liked to see this warbird and to sign my models. "This one would gave me a chance to get the feared Moskitos!!"

Re: winter sky enemies
Yes, the Number one guy is me. At the first Galland Pic you can see a guy at the right end of the pic. Black jacket, crossed arms and not to much hair . He did the figures. All are 1 / 1. Do not know if it is for sale but I will ask him at the next exhibition in October. The dog was a real one and alive until it was needed for the galland figure
Walter Schuck is a real nice guy and to talk and listen to him is great. He is the most succesfull (more than 200 victories) fighter pilot still alive. Over 90 years old and still car driving!!! And this at the German Autobahn (no speed limits)
If somebody wants to get some signature posters from him (or Spoden, Ekkerhardt Bob or other aces) I could get these for not too much money in october (if he/they is/are still alive then).
regards from Germany

Re: winter sky enemies
The dog wasn´t killed for the project. He died because of his age and the taxidermist made a Galland dog out of him. No fear,we´re no monsters here in Germany! At least most of us
In addition the guy who did this project comes from Belgium.

Re: winter sky enemies
Fantastic pics Crazy Kraut.
Must be a very special experience to talk to these aces from WWII, especially the German ones as the attrition rate was so high.
And to have him sign some models is pretty awesome as well. I am sure that these vets are equally enthusiastic that people still collect and treasure these models of their old mounts.

Re: winter sky enemies
One of my first 1/18 custom jobs was a winter P-40
In retrospect I know I did it way to clean, most Russian airfields didn't have paint booths or hangers.
