Question about Value of 1/32 Focke Wulf

Hi everybody,

I mainly collect 1/18 aircraft but also do have a lot of 1/32 planes. However, I did not really follow the market. Now I got an offer to sell several of my 21st Century 1/32 Focke Wulf models:

a) 13331 - S1 - Focke Wulf FW-190F - SG.4 "White 7" - Turin, Italy 1944 "Desert"
b) 13331 - S2 - Focke Wulf FW-190F - SG.2 "Red 9" - Hungary, January 1945 "Winter"
c) 13314 - S1 - Focke Wulf FW-190A - 6./JG 1 "Yellow 11" - Feldwebel Alfred Bindseil (Stormede, Germany April 1944)

I am willing to sell them but have no idea what they are worth nowadays. Can anybody help me here? What do you think is a reasonable $-price for them?

Really, the price set is what someone is willing to pay for them. I can tell you that I have had huge high prices and surprisingly low prices when selling 32x planes, with the highest price ever paid for a "Yellow 11" Fw190A-8 was $285 on ebay (the buyer told me he was tired of getting beat out so he wasn't going to lose this one) which was lucky for me, but it definitely isn't the norm and I count it as a fluke.
I think the average price for each one of those is anywhere from $30 to $75 depending on the market. The "Yellow 11" seems to command a little higher price ($60-100)because it is a standard scheme 190A-8 and just looks good.
I know you will probably get many, many opinions on this, but this one is mine and I hope it helps.

I'm just ranting here, but these high prices on 32x planes just make me cringe each time I hear about them. I guess its just because they were once so plentiful and cheap at Wal Mart and the small retailers - plus the fact that I have boxes of loos ones sitting in storage.

I've got an example of each 32x FW-190 unboxed, plus a couple boxed "Red 19" ones from the days when they were on clearance at Wal Mart. I still can't get over even the "Yellow 11" version going for $75, let along that freakish $285. However, t is one of my favorites

I wished I had found the "Red 19" 190 on clearance, it is the easiest 190 to repaint.

It really depends on who wants one, and how much they are willing to pay.

I know that isn't much help , but some schemes are more desirable than others. Then again, maybe somebody needs a specific one to complete a collection.

It is very variable, and when Harry got $285 for "Yellow 11", it was quite shocking.

I think the $30 to $75 range is pretty much spot on. But anything over $50 would be in the high range.
