possible japanese civilian figure (female)

i just bought one of these and thought it would make a useful japanese female civilian. Not typical of the style of dress worn by japanese women in the 40's but many still did dress like this. Regardless, i thought it was a cool little figure. Description says it's 4 1/4 inches tall but it's actually 3 1/2. Was originally made by Plastoy for their samurai line, now in production by Safari.
