Watched the movie Kokoda,after a recommendation here.I forget from who it was though..Great movie,and a story I didn't know of.

Highly recommended.

Don't have time to watch the documentary now,but I will definitely check it out.

I think that was me talking of the Aussie Film, I knew a little of the PNG campaign, but mostly of the air war over Port Morsby and Lae

Watched the whole thing. A great story balanced by both sides perspective. Thanks for the link Panzer_M.

Some generals right on up to MacAurther were SOB's though. Trying to save their reputations when things went bad. A lot of bad decisions and lives lost because of it.

Like the commentator said Kokoda was in the shadow of Gallipoli.
