That looks fantastic! I like how he used my idea of the hinges on the turret screens

Congrats to Pickelhaube, again, for making this great kit 8)

The hinges were a great idea, the only difference is i used metal hinges because they were a little wider, more durable ( if your going to open and close the top a lot ) and after i glued them on i came back put pins in each hole. and it worked out great.

The last post on this project was 5 years ago .

Since then the 222 seams to be sought after . The molds are totally shot and I need to make new ones .

But there still is a demand for it.

The swing open baskets were always a pain. The little clip idea worked but was too fiddley.

I have since thought of moving the side vision block up to the basket and use the top of it a hinge and mounting the other side of the hinge on the basket.

Although the wrong location it should pass .

Thoughts ?

Also is there still interest in the Sdkfz 223 ?

The basic 222 body with the top of the hull a little different with a smaller machine gun basket and of course the large areal.

How about it guys ? New interest in the 223 ?

I'd be up for a 223, I think the 222 was outstanding and would take another one if it were offered!

Pickel's 222 and King Tiger are the 2 that got away from me, great work.

I would be more interested in a new Sdkfz 222. I regret not getting it before.
