Good price.

It wasn't me.

Yankee Doodle is not a very popular scheme, hence the price.

Some of the more popular Corgi B-17's have gone for big bucks lately.

Bit O Lace recently went for $380 IIRC.

It was a good price, but I agree about the scheme, I personally don't care for it. I'm no expert on the 17, but I don't think very many were produced with camo schemes like that, and perhaps that would partly explain the apparent lack of popularity of Yankee Doodle with collectors. The yet to be released "Hells Angels" is high on my list, and I am probably going to submit a pre-order for one very soon, I'm just trying to find the best deal.

I'd like to see a Nine O' Nine.

I used to play as that B-17 on the OLD Mircroprose B17 Flying Fortress(3.5 Floppy) PC Sim.

Here is a nice Hi-Res picture of the soon to be released (reportedly March) "Hells Angels" B-17. It's a great looking bird IMO and BIG, with a 17" wingspan.

That Hells Angels is a great looking model.
Glad to see Corgi still releasing the B-17.
I am sure you will be happy with it ostketten. :D

I am going to go for the re release of "Memphis Belle",as I missed out the first time round, and these go for big bucks these days.

Nine O Nine was released by Corgi,PanzerM.
One of there more popular schemes, and it also gets top dollar.

that nine o nine looks great. love the fact it's even got a crew to display with it.

I am pretty sure the next Corgi I get is going to be the Ju-88C-6 unless I hit some great deals before that. like a 30-40$ Ju 88A-4 III./KG30 Lister or something to that effect.

I found the Mule edition Fw 190A-6/U3 or R3 with the underwing guns, from the same seller I got my HM Russian P-39..I thought it was expensive but now with some of the the B-17s prices I've seen, the sticker shock is lessened if I want it.
