Well I change direction of my hobbies.
I have been all over the place.
1. My first hobby was large RC aircraft
2. Nazi helmets
3. Nazi daggers.
4. WW1 German camo helmets
5. 1/18 toys.
6. Tank parts.

I usually will collect /build stuff for about 3-5 years then my interest changes. I sell some of my old hobby stuff to buy the new hobby stuff.Man I sure wish I would have kept those daggars and a few other items that I never can afford now.

I am still looking for my holy grail the Tiger track. They are going for about $1,000- $1,500. In order to afford that now I will have to sell some of my other stuff.I do not want to do that. Because if I did that will probably end my 1/18 collecting days.

I do like this hobby a lot . That is kind of why I make things in 1/18 scale because nobody else will. Plus the little bit of change I make selling them helps in todays economy.

What does WIP mean ?

John Wayne : Mine was taller

I have 5 SW projects that are probably 5 or 6 years old and which I haven't touched in probably half that time. There's always something to do that doesn't get done.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

I have three 1/18 customs (all PH customs) and three 1/6 kits (Sherman, M-10, M-4 HST) and four 1/6 customs all in various stage of completion.

That doesn't count any number of small custom jobs I have in mind in all scales. Someday..........

I got two 1/18th birds that are still unfinished (one of them I started a few years ago now).
I now have a third bird that wants some bench space, and a fourth thats all been worked out on paper....
....maybe I just find it more fun planning and starting a project then having to finish a model with fiddly details

I always have ideas of certain dioramas I would like to make, but don't seem to have the time.

I guess its just my nature, but I'm always collecting or building something and probably always will be.
