TKO - Speculation on ALL-GO in 1/32?
TKO - Speculation on ALL-GO in 1/32?
TKO,
If ALL-GO Toys is the "re-incarnated" 21st Century toys, what are the odds they still have the 1/32 molds?
I know you can only reveal so much information so I won't pester... too much.
Arval Roberson's "Passion Wagon" was one of the paint schemes I thought 21C should have done as a Online Special due to the pin-up nose art.
Maybe this is something that ALL-GO would consider in the future.
Again,
If ALL-GO is 21C reborn AND if they still have their 1/32 molds and the price is right, I would definitely purchase at least two of each.

It would be great if ALL-Go were to have the 21C molds.
Lots of repaints that could be done from the existing molds.
Hope they get a positive response about doing this.
As they are already doing the "Passion Wagon",and apparently aiming at the adult collector, they could do some more "racy" nose art planes, and have properly marked German aircraft.

I think we need to realize that the days of "Walmart cheap" 1/32 is over.. I don't mind paying more as long as it has some options and the quality is there. Only time will tell and hopefully prices will be what a typical human can afford.

Should the release 1:32 aircraft again, I can see the prices most certainly going up. My theory would be that the planes would sell in the $30-$40 category, the same as the BBI 1:32 aircraft and those made by Unimax FOV line. For those of you that would want to whine about that price, it is still much cheaper than the Corgi or GMP offerings, the 21c planes look better than the FOV planes, and the newest ones at least have more moving parts than the BBI 1:32 aircraft.

I used to could be a 1:18 collector, but for some reason I can't afford that life$tyle anymore.
Hence, I still feel good about buying an occasional 1/32 airplane.
You can get 2,3,4, even 5 or more for the price of one 1:18 aircraft, and hang a heck of a lot more of them from the ceiling.

Do you think it would benefit the new 21st to also market 1/32 thru a brick and mortar shop or chain, with proper distribution ?hworth18 wrote:I think we need to realize that the days of "Walmart cheap" 1/32 is over.. If they want to repaint any of their newer mold 1/32 Mustangs in some schemes I haven't seen before, even the special nose art, I'm not going to gripe at all.
People over in the 1:18 section are complaining about not wanting to buy the repaint P-51D because of the possible high price, hows about throwing a less expensive 1/32 P-51 in the mix?
P-51D, B/C, (A ? maybe)
I'm not going to get too picky.
