			it depends on where you went onaverage i would say a P-38 was about 79.99. but i found some as high as 99.99

			i believe the p38's were originally 69.99 at TRU when they first came out.  They were a TRU exclusive back then so nobody else would have retailed them, just scalpers.

			i came to the hobby late. i remember seeing my first XD plane a WM. it was a P-38 although i dont remember which one. As im sure all would agree i wish i knew then what i know now!

Actually, the P-38s were $59.99 USD at TRU when they first showed up in 2002.  I want to say the smaller planes at the time (Corsair & Stuka) were in the $40-$50 range.

			The first 21C plane I ever saw was the "White 12" 109 at TRU that I bought and still have, followed by a Corsair. I didn't buy anymore 1/18 until WM starting pricing down overstock and I picked up an Atlantic Avenger for $30. By then I had switched over to 1/32.
