Poll: What is the next plane you guys want to see??
Since we have been given several possible future aircraft options for 21st Century and bbi, what is THE plane you want to see made next. I know what mine is and there has been a prototype made of it!!

I voted for the Hellcat.
But, with my rose-colored glasses on...I want a F-4. And, I actually don't think it's that far fetched. Think Zero (Collectors: we want a Zero!. 21st: Never!). And now we have a Zero prototype.
I can wait for a F-4. It's not something that will happen any time soon, though, that's for sure.

A-10: there's a prototype.....but still no A-10.....
However the Zero I think is a done deal...it fits the box and is highly wanted.
The bright side of the story is that 21st may have said NEVER to the Zero and here it is. Maybe this means that aircraft like the A-10 that we hear are not likely will be done but they are a secret like the Zero. Keep the faith alive....

Birddog:
I hear ya. However, keep in mind that the A-10 never moved past 'alpha' stage (that we know) as a prototype. The Zero, on the other hand, is a painted prototype on display at ComicCon. The A-10 never got that far.
We are on the same page, though. Keep hope alive! Bring on the A-10 (then bring on a F-4).
Speaking of box size, why the heck isn't an A-4 Skyhawk ever thrown in the mix? It's size is very manageable for a W-M box, and it has a good service history.

most wanted aircraft
Hello there gals and guys, I just joined the site and I'am glad there's more 1:18 model airplane crazy people out there! According to my wife, I'm nuts all the way when it comes to my 16 airplane collection, which hopefully will soon get larger.
As for the poll, I must say that although I love my F-16, I'm not particularly crazy about the modern jet models. Bu I think the Phantom would be a great addition to the collection.
As for the prop jobs of WW-II, I've been long waiting for the Avenger. The Moskito would be simply fantastic! As for the Zero, that's an aircraft I've always liked; however, the paint scheme I saw on the pictures is really unattractive. I remember a green camouflaged I had as a kid that was terrific and very nice to look at.
Well, hello to everyone and lets see what happens. Lets keep the fingers crossed.
So long.
