Scratchbuilt 1/16 RC FAMO Insanity

Post by CENT-ONE » Mon Jun 22, 2009 2:22 pm

OK, I know I tried to link to this earlier this year and couldn't because the panzerketten RC forums were down. And yes, it is 1/16 and RC, the scale and RC aspects are a sidenote compared to how amazing the scratchbuild on this thing is. Seriously, the forum post is 33 pages long and mostly in German but 100% worth your time to go through the entire build process page by page.

Even more amazing is that it's almost all metal!

Sorry if this is a repost, I'm just amazed everytime I look at the build process. Makes me feel kinda lazy for having so many halfway finished customs on the workbench but also inspires me to work on them. :D

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Fully functioning crane, working windshield wipers and "steering" driver.

I'd settle for a static Sd.Kfz.9, but that guy just went all-out.
