1/32 Huey

Post by ketelone » Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:58 am

On a couple of occasions there have been topics regarding "modern" aircraft in 1/32. The Apache from Testors was discussed, etc. I've been racking my brain about the Huey that was available and I finally figured out the manufacturer. It was Air Power. This company made die cast planes and choppers. The Huey was a Marine version. Not a bad piece for the cost. They used to be available at Walmart and I think Kmart. Not too long ago I picked several up at a model railroad show and I've been painting them since. If only they would return or some other company came to the rescue.....

Yeah for the money they weren't too bad. They made a couple repaints of the Tomcat, Hornet, Mustang, Apache, Cobra, and only ever saw one scheme of the Harrier. I like'm! :D
