I must say that I did like the Bravo Team WWII 1:18 figures a lot.

As for vehicles and planes, maybe newer vehicles like the Airacobra with more detail would translate better to plastic. However from the armor and Choppers I have seen it appears that they "beef up" the model with thicker plastic pieces and molded on parts to make it more kid friendly which is not good for us.

Went by Target today and looked closely at the Mustang and Bf-109 that sat on the shelf. My opinion is that they are still bad, and even moreso in plastic. The P-51 was the better of the two in that it appears that the rivets aren't as pronounced as on the metal version, but it does still have the awful 2-piece spinner and very thick propblades that were obviously thickend so that kids could play with them and not be easily broken. The pilot looked like a morphed version of the 1/72 Me-262 pilot with the flightcap, full face airmask and goggles. The paint wasn't bad, but not up to even 21st's standards.
The Hartmann 109 was just bad, bad, bad, and bad....
The small details have obviously been made oversized to accomodate playtime with propblades that look more like 2x4 planks than propblades.
The paint was not represented well and the markings (especially the upper wing markings) were very inaccurate.

Sorry guys, not for me...... :(

Well, I finally found the BF-109 from Bravo Team. It took stopping at a lot of Targets. I really don't think it's that bad... It's definitely not the greatest but for $19.99....... I am disappointed it does not have a 'holder' as do the FOV planes but it's ok. My paint is good. The biggest drawback is the screws on the bottom of the aircraft. In light of the apparent extinction of 21st, I'll consider future releases. As far as the P51, ihave enough already. To me the P51 is as overdone as the King Tiger.....

I found this plane today :) There was one mixed in with a bunch of the 1:48 BT Blackhawks and I did get it. It certainly is not up to par with the 21c Bf-109G by any stretch of the word, but in my opinion is not the most terrible plane in the world - that goes to the Bravo Team P-51  I like the paint scheme on the '109 even if it does sport inaccuracies, and the elaborate gray patterns help to hide the terrible riveting. Plus, it is supposed to be Hartmann's plane!
