1/18 Quad Flak 38 Part Deux

Post by pickelhaube » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:13 pm

Well I almost have this wraped up. A few more days and it will be done. I know everybody is busted because of the Monkey business so I took some time to get on this.

I would say that I am ready for preorders but I know better.

That looks amazing! Nearly as good as anything 21c would make! It is so very tempting, but I'm kind of afraid to hear the price

Beautiful. I will be interested in one of these.
Hey PH, have you ever considered doing a 105 howitzer (us or german)
I made one for my priest that pales in comparison with your work.

It has come to my attention that with a full set of crew the base plate may start to sag. So if you have ordered one of my flaks you may have to shim up the center so that this does not happen. You could use a rod or dowl for this or a few pieces of styreen.
After you put the leveling pads on measure to the bottom of the trailer plate . It should be about 5/16 - 3/38 of an inch or so.

I will build this into further runs.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Guys,

I am updating the 3 projects that I am doing at this time. Hopefully I will go into production with this flak gun the end of next week or if not the begining of week next.

When this flak came out there were quite a few people who were interested in it then the Monkey hit the fan. So I pressed on with the M-10

Now I have about 8 paid preorders for the flak gun and it is ready for molds and pouring.

As I have said in the other posts. I will finish the M-10 pour the Pavehawk then proceed with this.

Crane Driver will be the first to recieve the FIRST QUAD FLAK 38 IN OUR XD WORLD.

He came through with the 1/35 model when I offerd the SPECIAL DEAL and will recieve this at about half the price. WAY TO GO CRANE DRIVER :D

Thanks guys for the support.
