Why is the 1/16 M26 called "Snow Leopard".

I have two of the Heng Long M26 Snow Leopards. Very nice tank. Heng Long doesn't have a Sherman but I have seen quite a few photos of the M26 in action in early 1945. I think they may have been used a little more than most people believe. For someone planning to go to 1/16 tanks, this could take the place of a Sherman very nicely.

Anyway, I have done several searches and haven't been able to find any other feferences to it as a Snow Leopard.

It's just the "name" of the tank, those given to their own beast from the crew members, such as the famous M26 'Fireball'.
That's why you find a 'Snow leopard' sticker inside the package to put on the side mudguards.

I don't know if the name is imaginary, but I guess so. I haven't found any picture about such a named Pershing so far.

OK. I bought mine loose without the original packageing so there was no decal to clue me in.
