Thanks for posting the pic. That looks OK, I think I actually prefer the S1 scheme though. Did anybody notice the name "Hildegard" on the upper hull..?? Wonder if this is modeled after an actual vehicle..??

ebay, trying to get a good pic of s1's unit markings
We JUST got S1 ausf. M here in my AO and still no (r)s to be found.
also NOTE the the title I said it was a
new ausf.M and not new Marder..hence I understand a repaint..but one that was not on 21st's site least to my knowledge.
It's also strange it's in an old box, all the Marder IIIs and 38ts here in FLA have been in the new style boxes.

Nice scheme, but I think I still like the S1 version better. My grandparents once had a German Shepard named Hildegard. One of the best dogs I've ever known.

All of the Marders and Hetzers I have seen at WM are in the 3 side window box and TRU has the 2 side window box

First sighting rights! Cool!
I agree, I like the S1 version better. I am really looking forward to the S2 Hetzer though.

I do like the name script, but those treads are killing me, like the treads on the Panther/Kursk set.
Way too red.

I actually really like this scheme. It's really different, and I've had a Marder fetish lately.

I need one of those Hetzers though, I'm praying that out of the 5 places I can go that have lots of 'em, I don't go in with money and they're gone.

I'm reviving this old thread---does anyone know any history about the Marder III "Hildegard" such as unit, etc.?
