Wow, what a piece of junk! I will say that it is very heavy which is cool but it has very little detail throughout. Also, it's adorned with cheap water-slide decals instead of the printed markings that are pretty much the standard today. The national insignia on the left hand boom flaked off when I lightly grabbed the boom. Then to top it off, the front landing gear collapses about 20 seconds after I set it down.
I'm glad I bought it from a hobby shop that will give me my money back. Are all Armour aircraft as crummy as this one? Did I get an old model? I expected more out of the Franklin Mint.

That is one reason that even though they are about the only company that makes an A-10 model larger than 1/72, I still won't get it. Even on clearance for $60, it's just not worth it.

Sadly, when Armour got sucked in by Franklin Mint, their die cast plane quality has plunged downhill.
If you can find any real "Armour" aircraft, those things are a real beauty.

Yeah this thing is going back. Too many faults for me to list right now. I'm really dissapointed, but I guess sometimes you learn the hard way.

I got one of the B-25's several years ago before Armour sold to Franklin Mint. It was pricey but is a very nice model. I always thought the fighter planes lacked detail for the price.

I took it back and exchanged it for another Fov Tiger with riders and I also got some cash back. I was less than impressed by the poor quality construction and low level of detail considering what I paid for it.

I have Putt Putt Maru and Pudgy V that are Armour and my Marge is a Franklin Mint.
I didn't notice much difference between either product. Guess I've never compared them side-by-side either. I'll have to check them out.
