1/18 F-15 found

Post by aferguson » Sat Jan 05, 2008 9:55 am

r/c plane. Very scale in proportions and almost exactly 1/18.

details here:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=788050

and ordering info from the cheapest place i could find here:

http://rc-castle.com/shop/advanced_sear ... words=f-15

Apparently both the f-15c version and f-15e version are the same, except for the colour, no canopy differences etc. I ordered the grey one for the low viz markings....although i may well make it into an Israeli airforce F-15.

Now if 21c would just hurry up with the Mig 21, i can repaint it to a Syrian or Iraqi plane and have a nice little dog fight to display.

:)
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

at the link i provided (rc castle) you can get them for $107US. This is airframe only, without any of the r/c stuff, which is fine unless you were planning on making it really fly, which i'm not.

It's shame really. They're depriving us of essential 1/18 aircrafts and now we have to resort to this. :x

I really hope some does get the production of a nice detailed F-15 going before this hobby never sees the world again.

I'd like to see BBI follow their F-4J with a 1/32 F-15C.
