Outnumbered!

Post by blurx7 » Fri Jan 04, 2008 6:28 pm

This is probably silly... I try to keep tabs on all my 1/32-1/35 stuff, in order to know whose side is growing faster, the Allies or the Axis... yeah, I know...stupid.... still...
I can't seem to get the allies caught up. I do buy some duplicates (if stuff is on sale), but I try not to. Here is the current tally:
Axis
Aircraft - 21
Armor(Tanks) - 43
Artillery Pieces - 12
Mortars - 2
Support Vehicles - 25
Troops - 215

Allies
Aircraft - 16
Armor - 40
Artillery Pieces - 5
Mortars - 2
Support Vehicles - 12
Troops - 207

I really need them to make some more allied planes and vehicles! Otherwise, the Allies are gonna get creamed!

:?

It is the same story in the Great Northwest. The only answer is Shermans, Shermans and more Shermans. Repaints, model kits, whatever; at least they are easy to find. I think I have something like 16 of them now.

The FOV Lees, Grants and Stuarts have helped a bit and I recently snagged a large lot of old WM 21C bubble pack Hellcats and Walker Bulldogs. I was really surprised to see them and had forgotten how I had gotten most of my first 1/32 armor.

I mean I know the german equipment was way cool, but just to keep some balance can't we get a Cromwell, a Churchill, or a Valentine? There was a lot of different American, Soviet , British and French equipment and hardware. Does it always have to be German stuff they make for us?
After all, they tell us we won because we had more equipment than the Axis. So where is it?

Oh, and when do we get a bloody P-38?

Ditto blurx! For armor I would love some English pieces but I am really praying for a T-34C. 21C could sell these by the case load. I dream of getting some Cyrillic slogan decals and creating waves of these!
