Yes, will the Phantom show up both at stores and online? I would like to save on shipping and get it at TRU.

Mike,

First I want to say great job on the 1/18th Hellcat. Second is BBI planning on any more repaints for the Corsair? I would like to see one wearing the markings of Big Hog of VF-17.

Yeah, Big Hog would be great, or how about white 17 of Roger Hedrick the XO of VF-17, or maybe white 3 of Big Jim Streig. Ahh well actually you could do just about any plane from VF-17 and I would want one.

Yeah I know, and I'm probably going to go ahead and go this route. I just don't have much free time lately, and was hoping I could be lazy and have one of the big companies do it for me. Oh well it is said that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. :D

Mike, now that you seem to have some competition at Target from FOV, any new items on the horizon in the modern line? ( maybe a T-72 before FOV releases one, or you could surprise us all with a Hind?) Can we get any info on the camo F-18 repaint we saw at comicon? When will it come out? and is it exclusive to any shop in particular?

Hey Mike,

I don't want to ask about any aircraft in particular but will we see a new 1/18 Bird by the December/January time frame?

Mike, have a question. I picked up the new Hellcat and didn't notice until I got it out of the package that the hub on the prop is extremely distorted. Can I get a new prop or should I take this plane back for an exchange.
Thanks,
Todd

DocTodd, Aviator nut is selling Hellcat props on the buy/sell/trade thread... it might be easier and quicker.

Hey Mike,

Any chance if we will see David McCampbells Minsi III in the future?

This is one Hellcat I hope we see next in 1/18th scale. To have a 1/18th replica of Dave MCampbells Minisi III would be a treasure to have. He was a true hero and a Medal Of Honor winner. The only Carrier Aviator to have that distincsion. Plus 38 kills aint bad either.

I have 4 questions about BBI's new F-4J:

1. Will the F-4J be sold by ToysRUs and Target?
2. Will there be an F-4E in Vietnam and Tigershark nose paint?
3. Will there be a Duke Cunningham F-4J?
4. Will there be a Steve Ritchie F-4D and F-4E?

Thanks

I just received your 1/32 F-4 this week and I think your group did a great job. I think this is a great niche for BBI, making planes that would be too large in 1/18. My hope is that you will expand this line to other large modern jets along with larger single engine and smaller twin engine WWII birds. My assumption is BBI wants to wait and see how this sells before you move forward with new plans.

I look forward to the Dauntless and I wonder if you could answer a few questions:

1) Any idea on release dates and distribution? I have heard the Phantom is only going to etailers.
2) What will price be on this? My hope is it will be below the F-4.

Thanks and kudos to your team on the Phantom.

Mike,

1-will future 1/32 aircraft releases all have removable landing gear, or will some have retractable landing gear?

2-I know its just been released, but have sales thus far for the F-4 been impressive?

3-Will the 1/32 line expand to have more jets? I think 1/32 is growing immensely.

4-When will we find out about the next 1/32 releases after the Dauntless?

5-Is an Israeli F-4E or F-4 2000 Kurnass possible?

6-How about a Top Gun A-4 in 1/32 to accompany the Phantom?

GREAT job on the Phantom. I do not have it yet(possibly will soon), but I can already tell it completely outdoes the 1/18 F/A-18C you guys made a few years back. The outstanding job you guys did on the Phantom makes me want more BBI 1/32 jets! :D
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Mike,
Haven't heard from you in months. Hope all is okay...but it does look a bit bleak for bbi at Target as they have ALL the bbi figures on clearance. Someone also posted that the bbi armor is on clearance too. Has bbi lost the Target account?
I did manage to get the new British paratrooper at TRU-so things still going good there?
Any word from you on this or anything else would be great!
