Ok, this is getting tough trying to find other heads to swap out on the 21st C figures. I've been switching them out between the Germans and American troops, switching them also with BBI figures and I found that some Star Wars figures are usable too, but I need to find other brand figures to use other than Dragon, because I've used them too. I've also added beards and mustaches to some figures. Someone told me to look for Indiana Jones figures, but I can't find any :( What else have others been using to build their 100, 200 men plus armies up ???? Thanks, The General

Here is an idea blasto..... takes some japenese heads and put them on your U.S figs to fight the germans  There were actually many japenese americans fighting in europe and they were also in the marines. They could be the 442nd regimental combat team. An actuall group who fought in europe

Try to find some Chap Mei figures. They make Soldier Force, Wild Quest, Dino Quest, Pirate stuff and a few other lines.
Also try some of the Jurassic Park figures.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

There are a few more cheaper figures out there with horrible moulding. I don't know who made them....but they are of a construction crew. Some of the figures don't have hardhats on, so they could be useable. You'd find these at dollar/discount stores. Single carded figures with oversized equipment.

Toys 'R' Us had some Home Depot construction crew figure sets. Tonka had some nice figures with their vehicles. Check ebay.

Don't forget "The Corps" figures too. I have a few of those too. Not bad but I think their heads are too big.

Over the next few weeks/months there should be the release of The Golden Compass figures. Hopefully they are good and can be easily adapted to a 1940's diorama. I really want some civilians!

Cheers

I work with Ashley at www.FFURG.com (check my sig, should be a link). He can cast most anything you need Blasto... So can I, actually, but time is not there to do it. Ash is a good guy that you'll get a good deal from though. Not everyone sells casts as cheap.

they might have some that work.

and i know it may sound funny but those old galoob 3 3/4 star trek figures actually have a few good head sculpts,i think reiker and picard and data at least could work well and their pretty cheap to get.

For now, I'm good to go for awhile :) I've been beheading some of my Star Wars figures, the older(peg sticking out of the head) figures work pretty good and I've gained many German officers and some Great looking Generals 8) The General
