1er RPIMa customs

Post by blaster_e11 » Tue Sep 04, 2007 2:59 pm

here's the first troopers from the 1er RPIMa (régiment d'infantrie de marine-1st marine paratrooper regiment)

the 1er RPIMa is a special forces group, it's the true heir of the SAS French Squadron from WWII. It's motto is the same as its British counterpart : "qui ose gagne" (Who dares wins).

These elite troopers of the French Army form RAPAS (recherche aéroportées et actions spéciales, Airborne Serach and Special actions) detachment, several specialisties are availabe : counter terror, combat diving, bodyguard, sharpshooter, HALO jumpers, jungle or mountain...
As their glorious ancestors, they even have a PATSAS speciality (3rd Company) which refers to SAS patrols on jeeps (as in the North African desert during WW2)

here's the two 1st troopers specialzed in counter terror :

Portier (Doorman) : is a breacher/lead element

Fonceur is team team leader

Very nice set of customs!! the holsters look great and the vests look better in these pics :D

I knew it wouldn't take you long to get Mj's FA Mas! I have already added the small M-4 sight and trigger to one of mine and plan to add an M203 to another one ready for some French customs.

Great use of PTE figs! :D
If interrested in seeing more of my customs check out

Awesome job. I think PTE are some of the best figs for doing customs. 8)
