...and just for reference: The dio is 1/18 and portrays a small group of british women coming across a crash landed 110 in their fathers field. A member of the home guard has been posted on the scene (probably to stop souvenir hunters) and is taking the chance to look over the aircraft up close and personal.

I think we can still allow Jay's entry.
That being said, we have 9 entries in 1/18, and 7 in the smaller scale.
The judges will now score and confer and we should have winners on Halloween.
Good luck to all! The dio's are all great. This won't be easy.

Thanks jrs! Most of it's custom built, though part of the destroyed walls and one of the buildings is available in a regular range of 1/72 buildings and accessories.

The flak truck and Maultier are both 1:16 / 1:18 customs. I'm posting some "work in progress" shots and how-to's when the contest is over. :D

If you look at the bottom of my original post, there is a link to some other photos. Close ups and color shots if that helps. The 1:18 scale is more obvious in those pictures.

Its funny cause at first I had no idea of the scale. I was jealous as hell when I saw that Flak and the arty piece! Then I realized it wasnt 32x?? :D Still jealous! Looks sweet! Tshints 1:72 threw me off at first as well. Good stuff!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the delay. I know everyone is waiting for results. It is taking longer than we expected to reach consensus. You guys were all too good! :D

We sincerely hope to have an announcement of winners tomorrow :D

Again, sorry for the delay, but we will have the results soon.

Scoring

Post by lightning2000 » Thu Nov 01, 2007 3:18 pm

Hi Guys,
Sorry for not monitoring the thread more closely. We've been busy of late, getting ready for a Soldier Show, setting up a sale, shipping and receiving, blah, blah, blah. Geoff called me today and I told him I'd review everything tonight and get back to him tomorrow. The other judges will then post the results.

The winners will need to PM me on this forum. I'll need your complete contact information so we can get out the prizes right away before the Xmas rush.

Once again, I apologize for the delay...

Hi All,
Okay, I looked over everyone's entries and submitted my votes to the other judges. I've asked them to tabulate the scores and post the winning results when they're ready. Once again, thanks for all your hard work and terrific looking dios. It wasnt easy coming up with a winner...
