While visiting the local Zoo gift shop I found this great figure of Steve Irwin (may he rest in peace).
It seemed to be a great torso for something in the African WWII theater.
A simple head swap and he was in the DAK crewing a PAK..

that's a pretty wimpy tank crew; surrendering to a guy with a tommy gun.
Those figures look good. I didn't realize Steve Irwin was killed. Stabbed through the heart by a Ray. Incredible.

You haven't been in a cave on Mars, have you? It was all over the US and international news, as well as the net

ya apparently he would have survived if only he had not taken the barb out. Quite unfortunate that he is killed by the thing he loves (no not painful barbs but animals)

Great idea!! Are those figures found at other retailers besides the zoo gift shops?

You do not see what is behind Steve, He has a whole armada of animals behind him. Lions, elephants, zebra, cobras and the like. Kind of like animals against the Axis kind of thing. You also can't see the pee-pee driping out of the all the holes around that panzer either.

you'd think he would have known enough not to pull out the barb. Everyone knows if you get stabbed, you don't' pull out the thing that stabbed you, it only makes matters worse.
He may have been more concerned about the toxins on the barb, however and i guess it's easy to say to not pull out the barb but when you get stabbed it may just be reflexive to do so.
Bizarre ending to the man.

Dumping a few crocs and gators down the tank's hatches would cause any crew to surrender.

It was probably an instant reaction with out thinking about it! Like when you put your hand on a hot stove and jerk back with out thinking.

Is that a Remora on it's back?
Now that attention to detail!
Poor Steve, I miss him.

Aferg, yep I knew it was a Manta

I've caught loads of stingrays over here, they come into Auckland harbor every summer to breed and killer whales sometimes come in to feed on them.

Nice work, Grunt.
Does the package have any website listed on it? I tried our local zoo, and they don't have these guys, so I'm wondering if somewhere online I can pick them up.
