F-86 Sabre Gun Bay Mod

I want to super detail the 1:18th 21st Century F-86 and the gun bay is a prime candidate for attention. The guns are ok as a base and the chargers and other gizmos and wire will be relatively easy to fabricate. What will be a challenge is the .50 cal amunition and flexable carrier.
Does anyone know which figurs or veheicles come with 50s and ammo? Or any ideas how to build-up the ammo feeds for those sweet Brownings? The feeds are flexable wire-like frames and I am scratching my head as how to proceed.
