Well, I was working on a custom late last night - TOO late - and the X-acto slipped leaving a double gash on one finger - a small piece of skin cut out of the next (ring) finger - and removing a chunk of flesh about 1/2" by 3/8" by 1/8" deep from my pinkie. The first two aren't anything I haven't handlrd before, but that missing section is pretty bad and although I keep it wrapped with gauze and bandgedm it still hasn't stopped bleeding. My wife, of course, wanted me to get stitches, but she doesn't realize there's nothing there to stitch! So I'm home "sick" today, and will be on the mend for some time. Typing eith one hand isn't working so well, either.....

Damn, I hope you heal fast!
I also had an encounter with a box cutter about 2 years ago, I cut open the side of my hand (Opposite the thumb). That was NOT fun, blood was pouring out of the cut, that was scary.
Best of luck, heal fast, and becareful next time

I was working a 1/6th custom one time and I put a 2.5mm drill bit about 1/8" thru my pointer finger... Cleaned that sh*t up right away ...suprisingly, despite the deep cut, the scar is practically gone. ICK

Once, when trying to shave something off an XD plane, the exacto-knife slipped and stabbed my hand on the palm, just underneath the thumb. The cut wasn't all that big (more of a puncture, really) and for being so small, bled like heck

Uh guys, can I suggest we stick to customizing the models and not ourselves please? (worst injury for me was caused by folding a Swiss Army knife blade onto my left index finger, halfway along the middle segment - a good reminder to use the proper tools for the job!)
