Got some time yesterday to do some work on a dio I have wanting to do.
I am very limited on space and have only 3 shelves to do dios with: I have a D-Day Normaday beaches dio, this BoB dio and one reserved for a Vietnam dio. I have several winter tanks from both sides, so I chose this one for my BoB dio:

As you can see there is a small American outpost with a Sherman moving ammo and searching for the enemy. The German Tiger is doing some repair work and keeping an eye our for their enemy. Both don't know their "enemy" is only a hairs breath away from each other...

Totally reminds me of that scene in Private Ryan where the wall falls down.

Like the MG nest, is that building home grown or ?

Also, it's good to see that the articulation on the BoB Tom Hanks can hold a shell so well. :)

I remember that part in SPR. Great movie!

The MG nest building was made by a guy I know. He has made me several items- buildings, bunker, trench works and walls. All of them are made out of styrofoam and painted to look like concrete and brick. His stuff is excellent!

The camera angle on the BoB figure adds to it a little more than the figure can really hold on to. But it works.

I want to add some trees and piles of snow to it.
Thanks for taking the time to look at the pics, Grunt.

If you don't already have trees, there are a ton at WM in the Christmas section. Lots of large and small pine trees, both with and without snow.

If you have a Menards store near you ,they have some nice looking trees in their Christmas decorations section. Some short and large pines and some trees without foilage(sp). They are part of a holiday series of buildings, people and other accessories.
