I got sick of the black wing folding mechanism last night so I started to paint and on thing led to another.

1.I painted the black wing folding mechanism and all unpainted metal part parts all Flat 2.White including the spring.
3.Painted the flaps also in Flat White.
4.Filled in the holes with plumbers epoxy putty.
5. Painted the clear parts of the canopy” the edges and the top where the glass slides dull gray
6.Weathered it and added the BBI Corsair pilot

I forgot to add I also painted the metal pin in the center of the main landing gear wheel

Great work! I've thought about painting those interior surfaces an interior green color, but I'm not sure if that's accurate. One thing I did do was get a set of the "Hamilton Standard" logo decals from the BCA site and put them on the prop. I used the decals made for the Corsair, and though they are a little large, they still look good!

I still cannot believe how big the plane is.

Great work with the mods & paint.

I thought about painting the interior surfaces green. As for the decals I did not know about those, thanks. I want to close in the opean areas But because of the wing folding mechanism I am not sure how that would look.

Thanks I used plumbers epoxy putty the stuff is like plastic when it dries, just have plenty of water on hand to clean up before it dries.

It’s a huge freaken plane, my G/F says it’s the best one out there Because the wings fold, even then I had to put away the pudgy p-38 and rearrange the collection and put my corsairs on Zero duty patrol on the ceiling along with the German F-104 that slipped through a time distortion field. HAHAHAAHAHAHAH
