German Sidecar combo

Post by steelbonnet » Mon Aug 14, 2006 7:21 am

Hi All,
Well for those who didn`t read the 1/18th Sidecar thread in the 1/18th section viewtopic.php?t=5238

I`ve opted to post the bike here too with some photos of an Untouched Original too.

The Original Firstly.

So a fair bit of reworking for a basic Wartime model. I removed the original seating in the car & placed an appropriate one I had (better fit for figure in the car too now).
I cut the entry port into the Sidecar too. Also removed the glass from the sidecar leaving the handle.
The Mudguard on the Sidecar also got trimmed to make it look more appropriate.
Made the mount for the MG too. lastly a bracket for a spare wheel & of course spare wheel too.

SB, is the spare tire included, or is it borrowed from somewhere? Also, where did the seat come from?

Thank`s very much guys :D

MK,the spare wheel is from my bits, the bike doesn`t come with a spare :(
The seat i used to replace the original is from a 1/18th Land rover rear passenger seat.

IF anyone is doing this & wants to also replace the seat LMK as i`ve got a few of these seats & can spare some :D

Do a search for NSU MAX on ebay. There are three up right now. Also, the shop that sells them has more (at least they did when I talked to them) if you want to order more than one.
