Seam filler Question?

I have been using auto body filler to fill holes in pieces before sanding and painting.
I would like to switch to something less expensive, less toxic, and easier to work with.
I want to use the Future Floor Wax and Talcum powder option but i have a few questions:
1.) How well does this bond? Once auto body filler is in it's basically a piece of the plastic, but will the floor wax methode hold as tight? is is delicate? Is it tough a hold tight through wear and tear?
2.) Does it take paint well?
3.) Does it sand well?
4.) How long does it take to dry?
5.) What are the mexiing protortions?
What I'm afraid of is I'll put it in and it will be delicate and chip when sanded or fall out/shrink over time or not stand up to any stress or if painted it will be an off color and require many coats?
thanks
