The box is made of cardboard. I bought the smallest hinges I could find at WM. I just used Elmer's glue to set the hinge and door. I mixed my own paints. It's all hand painted. After I set the door, I hot-glued it to the truck. I also hot-glued the canvas to the other truck.

Reminds me of the FOUR-OH -SEVEN SEVEN...of course, M.A.S.H. and it brings the soundtrack in my head replete with the whooshing of Huey Choppers in the background! Kick ass stuff!

Excellent work on the Field ambulance mate.
This is superb & the cloth coverings on the WC51 is really well made too.
Both are excellent additions to anyone`s WWII lineup
