1) Get spray paint from the paint section.

2)Krylon, Rustoleum, store brand

3) look for spray enamel. You may find spray acrylic which is nice-less fumes.

4)Earth tones for camo. Try green, tan, yellow, black. You will want flat finish colors-not glossy.

5)follow directions on the can. Try painting a piece of newspaper so get the feel of the paint. Keep the can moving as you apply it as it will pile up and drip if you hit one spot too long. Do a few light coats rather thn one heavy one.

6) Forget all the above and go to a hobby shop and buy the small spray cans of Testors spray paint. They have many military colors on hand and then start over at step 5. Good luck in your endevours...

The paints at Walmart are pretty limited to Testors aircraft colors. I don't know what side of town your from. Try Dibbles hobbies on Donaldson (near the intersection with St.Cloud or Hobbytown of Austin Highway. The paint isn't cheap but the staff there are hard core model people that know their stuff.

Go to a hobby shop, there are just some things you shouldn't buy at walmart and model paint is one of them.
I use Model Master, Polly and Tamiya acrylic paints. Your hobby shop should carry one if not all of these brands. Good Luck!!!!
