Here is a quick pic of the SDKFZ 223 I built from card stock. I will post more pictures when I can.
I hope you like it.
Thanks,
Major Hoover

Custom SDKFZ 223
Many thanks...
I have been lurking around the board for some time and finally decided to post something.
That book shelf is mainly my wife's (although I have Clauswitz and Machevilli there).
Thanks again for the comments

Very very nice, and out of cardboard too! Amazing. What did you make the wheels and tires out of?

Thanks for the comments!! I appreciate the warm welcome. This is a great board!
Some answers to your questions:
Moth - the wheels are made of wood. I buy them from Hobby Lobby. They come in several sizes and seem to work well in this scale.
Aferguson - it is 1/18 scale (approx.) I actually built it from scratch using some diagrams scaled up on a copy machine as a rough template.
For Kamikaze, I live in DFW (Arlington, Tx)

Awwwww WOW MajorHoover these two are Really Beauties
Well done Sir on two Very Well done custom vehicles. These are superb.
I don`t suppose you still have the scaled Templates of these two to post online for all of us who would like to try our hands at them?
I was helped a lot with ref material with a M8 though still not got started on that.
You however are truely kicking me up the arse to get started (thought that was the NCO`s job not th officers....LOL).
The 223 is amazing as already said.
TWO Outstanding vehicles I`d love to add to my collection.
Maybe you could start a mini line of these to sell too? I`d be interested
Thank You for sharing
