Small Scale Military Headquarters

I probably figure that others out there use a wide array of tools and other gadgets to get their work done. I think it would be interesting to see what other people have worked with. My current tools are pretty much relegated basically to this old model box as seen below. My mods were made using all this. It's very Spartan and very low-tech minus the dremel tool that I used a few times. I also use an Architects Scale/Ruler not shown... Below is a detail of a bit that I used to make the Antenna and Pitot Tube Slots into the fuselage of my plane. I prefered the using the 'snap in' method when gluing the pieces as it retains a bit more strength.

Considering that I haven't yet done any real extensive custom work, my tools have basically been Krazy Glue, an exacto knife, a pocket knife, tweezers, a dremel tool, and various acrylic paints and brushes.

Hobby lobby has a neet little tool kit that is used for sculpting. It includes picks and scoops, various shaped scrapers, a knife, and more. I use hemostats to hold pats hands free that have been glued as well as miniature C clamps.

Oh, forgot to mention the greatest stuff ever made - Funtack! It was a blue sticky material, which despite several competing brands, was the stickiest. (I don't think it is made any more...) The material was designed for hanging posters. It does have oils in it that eventually soaked through paper posters. However, it works great for securing figures and accessories to XD vehicles and whatever else. The best part is that you can remove the pieces without damaging the model.
