Drilling holes.
Drilling holes.
Has anyone drilled holes in the connons and turrets on their planes such as the solid out P-47 guns and most of the Tanks. I do not want to break mine and I am just wondering. I think it would add more realism.

If you want to bore out the muzzle areas, create a 'pilot hole' with a sharp nail or a screw. Do not use power tools for any of this. Manually work a centerpoint then as you have a basis for the hole, take somewhere in the area of a 2.5mm drill bit and manually work the hole. I used this method for boring out my 1/6 scale guns from 21st century way back in the day and I used this method for my F-16 and F/A-18. If anything, work slowly and be "process oriented". Hope that helps!
