Yard Sale Finds....

Post by ostketten » Thu Jun 01, 2006 10:25 pm

Found these three items at a yard sale, a railroad bridge, (which also came with two fake stone support bases), a radar/ commo tower, and a factory kit. These are "O" scale model train accessories, and seem to be a pretty good match for 32X models and figures. Not bad for $35, and the factory kit should make a great "Stalingrad" type factory ruin, what do you guys think??

Glad you guys like the stuff, and I have no doubt that they will make nice scenics for some kind of diorama, they just need a little painting and detailing to make them look more "military" if you know what I mean. The radar tower and bridge are made by Lionel, you know, the model train outfit, and the bridge has a light attachment (not visible in the pic), and the radar array rotates, not that I would ever want it to, but hey it works. The radar tower and bridge sold for $35 ea. when they were new, there is still a pricetag on the boxes they came in, so I feel like I got a pretty good deal on this stuff. Cheers,

Scott

Wow! Those are some excellent finds! Its pretty cool that the pieces work so well in scale with the 32x products. I especially like the bridge.
