1/18th scale Marsden Matting

My apologies if this has been covered before at some time, but I was wondering if you guys have any ideas for some 1/18th Marsden Matting. For those of you that have never heard of it, MM was used mainly in the Pacific to set up runways quickly on top of crushed coral and sand, and it consists of corrugated/perforated metal sheeting that is linked together to form a continuous "mat".
