Hey guys here is the second guy in my team of SEALs i know he needs some work as am not happy with the woodland Camo anyway let me know what you think:

This pic nicely shows how the two front pouches on the vest are filled with spare M249 boxes thanks to Marauder Inc

I Dont usually do WWII figs but i am thinking of doing one using the Marauder inc Tommy gun with removable mag but not sure what sure of fig to do any ideas?

WOW He`s a fantastic addition to the SEAL team your doing mate

I just cannot get over the detailng in cloth you do. I recall from my 1/6th days how excellent the kit was though what your doing here at 1/18th WOW

You Sir are making figures HOW the Manufacturers SHOULD BE MAKING THEM IMHO.

I`ve always said 1/18th Is as great as 1/6th & your amount of use of cloth in the whole uniform & acc`s section,well that Just Proves it to me

You are truely bringing the 1/18th section into it`s own Oh I know there`s some wondferfull cloth outfit makers for 1/18th out there,though you mate Bring in that Accurate part that`s lacking. You capture the whole Kit layout,you capture the authenticity of the kit & uniform & hell the feel of them too

It`s the fine points like the accurate looking Rappeling harness,the slings & backpacks most certainly the uniforms,assualt vests,belt orders & Holsters. Hell your Cloth headwear is amazing too.

I for one am a BIG fan mate & Truely Looking forward to seeing ALL of the SEAL team when there done

As for the WWII using a MJ tommy gun. Well how about keeping it British I`ll send you a helmet I`ve already sculpted some & then you can then concentrate on the rest of the figure Do him 1940 BEF,Desert Rats,LRDG,SAS

Love to see what you DO actually go for mate

Thanks Steelbonnet I really like how this guy has turned out but am thinking of changing the jacket when i have time. All his gear is modeled on 1:6th stuff or pics from the web and books on modern stuff.

I have a friend that collects modern 1:6th stuff so i end up borrowing all his new gear and scaling it down. I am hoping to get some WWII stuff soon so that i can have a go at that as well as my Marauder Inc Tommy gun is crying out for a custom. I like the Idea of doing a Brit and think i will (Chears for the Helmet mate Iknow it will be good from what i have seen of your stuff!!!) but think i will end up doing a US fig aswell. I have done some M1 Bandoliers for my BBI paras but other then that i havn't done anything for my WWII guys yet and think they need some new gear.

Yea knew you based it all on 1/6th & ref books mate. The 1/6th ref certainly shows.After all your first SEAL truely caught me off guard there & I really had to check several times & also ask you if he was or not
That shows a LOT of effort & care & research has been done on the figures & I for one Am Truely looking forward to seeing the WHOLE SEAL team together when they are all done

No probs on the WWII idea mate,it`s just that an idea :d Though I`ll send a Tommy steel pot just incase you change your mind
Ha you could actually use the BBI "Sean Connery" head & add the tash to it & make a "Untouchables" Figure

Again I`m truely WOWED by your work mate I sincerly mean that You have a No1 fan here. You do figures HOW I want to BUY them

Also you`ve inspired me too,though alas not on clothing,I just cannot get that right. Though acc`s,belts etc I`m really stuck into that

Scope...

You're stuff ROCKS. It's quality of the absolute HIGHEST ORDER. I almost thought they were 1/6th scale! I take it that you do not use machines for this. This is mindboggling work. Crazy!!!! You and Steelbonnet are a force to be reckoned with! The UK invasion? wait..it's already happened!

Wow. Thats some detailed, time consuming work you've done there. I actually really like how BBI made thier pouches as separate pieces glued onto the figure; it was a big step away from the 3 3/4 gi joe sculpted on gear and added realism, but your cloth gear with actual opening pouches is amazing!
Nice work, I'm always glad to see other peoples modern military customs and will look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks mig29 and don i really like how my figs are turning out now believe me it has taken alot of trial and error to get to this sort of stage. I guess that's what everyone experiences though!! seriously though thanks guys for the good words coming from guys like you that make grate customs yourselves it means alot. I have been working on this team for about 3 months and it's nearly complete and i will post some more pics of the next ones as i finish them (its their pouches that need to be done) so that you guys can have a look i then plan to take the whole team outside and do some shots over the summer. If you like these guys you will really like the next ones!!! I especially like my Corpsman but hese the furthest from completion at the mo.

Ahhhh Summer is upon us too,so Truely looking forward to seeing the Group dio photos

So even though we`ve been bowled over with the 2 so far there more & BETTER to come...Awwww WOW I am truely looking forward to them :d

i still can't realize how you saw these clothes, it must have been a pain, (especially for the small pouches),

anyway as jason said i can't wait for the next update

Thanks guys I spend alot of time on my customs as all of us do and it's good to see people like what i do i thought it may have been just too different. It has taken a long time to get to this stage they are all hand sewn and i try to improve the design all the time. All the Seals are at a stage where they take about a week to finish off so i will post them and then when they are all done, weapons finished and weathered i will take some group shots hopefully we will get some sun over here this summer to do them justice!

Well mate You NEED to bring all your 1/18th Up here we`re just have GLORIOUS DAYS up here LOL

Must admit I`m really looking forward to seeing all of the SEALs
Moreso how you plan on doing the dio photos

Oh as i & others have said mate YOU are truely hitting a Niche here mate. This is Truely How I want the manufactures to do figures from now on

or we start a war with 1/6th,the victors declare all cloth to be at the winners scale.
As we at 1/18th have More Aircraft,Armour & no doubt armies WE WIN

As for WWII i have only done a few pieces that aren't as acurate as i would like and i hope to improve them. as you can see i have done a backpack (far from complete), kit bag,shovel cover, bandoliers, pistol holder, and weapon storage bag for the Marauder Inc Tommy gun (i just really like the detachable mag for this one so had to use it)





Anyway hope you like and any pics of close up 1/6th gear would be great As it will help improvements. I will be looking at the 1/6th sites soon though to get some better ideas.

Thanks Red i like them too for a first attempt but i want to do some better stuff for example i want to get some better cloth to do the holster and i am gathering some photo's of back packs to make a more acurate one.
