Very nice, you sculpt that yourself? or is it made from cloth?

I`ve sculpted one though in Flecktarn for one of my Modern German troops though the Flecktarn camo hides a lot of the work.

Very nice :D

You could also pull the hat off the S1 Panzer grenadier figure, sand out the little peg in it and then paint it to whatever color you wanted

argh, I don't have that figure (panzer grenadier)
I also did not know the hat comes off, is there a deaths haed on the hat?
I was thinking I could use the new german figures removable hats to make a field cap...

The hat comes off with a bit of prying. The hat like all the D German troops is Wehrmacht insignia on the cap.

As for removable, well you could dremel out some of those Tanker heads add the peeks & the little work to make them look like M43s :D Then you have removable caps :D
