1:18 LVT---UPDATE PICS---

Post by RED » Tue Mar 28, 2006 12:34 am

Hey guys just wanted to share a few photos of a -LVT- I'am working on.It is made out of wood that you can get from any hobby store and the track is from a old tonka bulldozer that broke off ( the track is what gave me the ideal to make the LVT ). The .50 cal is from a BBI paratrooper and the .30 cal is from a 21st Century jeep. I hand painted the stars,#56's,and the name FROGBELLY.I still have alittle work to do before I'am done but I hope you enjoy what I have so far. thanks for looking RED --[img][img][/img]

Wow! That is awesome work, and a great piece of armor to replicate. An LVT would make an interesting piece of armor for 21c to produce, but its unlikely one will see mass production. Still, great work!

Thanks for sharing your work and please send more if you have any!

Now that's just plain awesome :D

21c modelers had better be watching this post, as an LVT (and a floating one at that) would be a pretty cool piece of 1:18 armor! Their USMC figures look so much better in that vehicle as opposed to a halftrack or truck and an LVT would be a little easier of a vehicle to produce and market as opposed to a 1:18 Higgins boat.
