Been working on these two customs simultaneously. The first is the 21st C. "winter" metal version. The other is the plain dark green plastic version. Wanted to change up the stowage a bit so they weren't quite identical twins. Still tweaking the finishes a little but they are nearly done. Not sure what I'm going to do with my BBi "58" in it's semi-winter scheme.
Almost forgot....still have to add Grunt1's shackles and my homemade tow cables.

Re: Winter Shermans W.I.P.
After viewing pictures of winter Shermans and some really great 1/35 models built by pros, I decided the tracks and road wheels needed to be dirtied up more and I added grunt1's shackles and a homemade tow cable. Doesn't show up well in the front but it's just as well as it's kinda crude but at least a representation. The 1/18 manufacturers gave so much more attention to detail to German tanks than U.S. tanks for some reason. Anyway, hopefully this metal one is about as complete as it's gonna get. Guess I could glue on an ammo box to the .50? Gotta finish the other one now with a tow cable and such....

Here's the BBi Sherman. Still needs a tow cable but otherwise finished.
Just have to figure out my diorama scene in 1/18 (and a place to put it). I have 2x 75mm Shermans and a howitzer model to go up against 2 Tigers and a Panther. Seems a little one sided.

Axis, you’ve done some fantastic work on those Shermans! Very nice and realistic job with the winter whitewash and weathering
