1:18 Gate Jeep Modifcation

Post by normandy » Sun Feb 16, 2020 1:45 pm

A few years ago I picked up this Gate Jeep, the only problem were the occupants...

...yes Laurel and Hardy.

They have been removed and are now sleeping with the fishes.

After pulling the big guy out of the jeep, I noticed there wasn't a seat another problem.

So I had to make one

Its a little wider than the orignal.

A quick fix, now it needs some exterior work and it will all make sense in time...

Well Done! I have one with Beetle Bailey and "Sarg" removed from the seats.

Should those guys be smoking around that saucer? The other guy might want to don some protective eye wear too....

What appeared to be a seat under "Stan" was anything but, the one under "Ollie" was usable.
As far as smoking goes, I'm sure there's C-stoff or T-stoff sitting around...not a good idea.
 might add to the diorama/story!

I've taken a few pictures of the jeep with a little weathering.

Great job on this!
Especially squeezing off those three quick photos as the jeep raced passed the VW. Not even blurred! 8)
