Both are code 3s, of course. The first one is a redo of a 1:72nd scale GE Fabbri Fiat CR.32 in pre-war Hungarian markings. The chevrons were later changed to white crosses on black squares to coincide with the German markings when Hungary joined the Axis powers on the Russian Front. Here's how it came out:Image

Next up is a 1:72nd scale redo of an IXO/Altaya ME-210. Like all of the IXOs, this cheapie model was missing key parts---forward armament, pitot head, direction finders under the fuselage, etc and it has the usual droopy and ill-shaped spinners and props, plus a lousy paint job which gave the appearance of an over-all dark gray "scheme". Actually, they applied a dark green splinter pattern on the upper surface, but this was nearly invisible---except under strong light. Anyway, I chose a motif where the national markings were hastily and crudely sprayed over by green to make them less conspicuous as were other parts of the upper fuselage. The result: a well worn Hungarian ME-210, circa mid-1944:Image
