Air Force 1 Is Planning A P-61

Post by Epap » Fri Jun 20, 2014 6:10 am

According to posts by Captain Tiger on the DHP forum, the new diecast warbird and armor model manufacturer, Air Force 1, which has been offering models based on old FM and local Chinese toolings, is planning a number of new products, including a 1:72nd scale P-61. No details, as yet, as to details about landing gear options, crew figures, etc. but this tells me that Air Force 1 is making a serious run at challenging HM and Corgi . The first P-61 will replicate the famous "Lady In The Dark".

Any chance Air Force 1 will delve into 1/32?

So far, they have announced models in 1:144th, 1:72nd and 1:48th and some of those pictured on Chinese website are in even larger scales. So it's possible, though, in my opinion, unlikely, that Air Force 1 will make new toolings in the 1:32nd scale. But I may be wrong.
