First one is the Tank Urban Survival Kit (TUSK), is a series of improvements to the M1 Abrams intended to improve fighting ability in urban environments. The kit includes Abrams Reactive Armor Tiles along the skirts, enhanced belly armor, an M2 machine gun mounted on the main gun barrel, new thermal sights, loader’s machine gun shield, and infantry phone. TUSK II adds the distinctively curved ARAT tiles to the skirts and turret, and a fully shielded commander’s hatch.
The scecond is the M1A2 Abrams with TUSK prototype equipment and Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station (CROWS) .50 machine gun at the commander's station.
