Some more work done today,
I was able to get most of the warp out of the hull, once its all glued together it'll be fine.
The tracks took some work. It would have been ideal to paint the chassis and road wheels and then put
the tracks on but a storm was blowing in off the bay so I just glued them in place
, no big thing.
Turret and hull will have Zimmerit and today the decals arrived. Just using the crosses.
*these are 1:16.
I'll see what I can get done tomorrow.

I had to do some repair work before I could move onto the paint stage of the build.
The right rear of the hull was missing, had to make a new piece.
Now just add the last section of Zimmerit....
This is the Atak resin Zimmerit sheet...
Trim, sand and paint....
Ready for paint...

I had to make fender mounts for the King Tiger, I'd forgotten about them.
I made a tool to heat up and melt some of the resin Zimmerit sheet so I could glue the mounts on to the tank.
The mounts are made of styrene, 22 of 'em.
Glued on...
The end of a long afternoon...
I'll see about paint tomorrow.

Hey Normandy, everything (and especially the Puma) looks great!
I recently made the star antenna mount and pot shield for the Panther / KT for the 1:16 crowd but also did it in 1:18. I am doing the antenna storage tube as well this evening. I know the Panther used the tube, not sure about the KT. (note the metal guard is included for some versions of the Panther that used it, not the KT, IIRC.)

No metal tube on the King; that stuff is for peasants.

Thanks Slade. I noticed that the 21C Panther already has the tube, just no antenna mount. And sorry Normandy, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. My intent was to let you know that you could add one of these if you needed to.

The Befehlstiger II had a small antenna tube on the back on the engine deck
