I may have to try your technique, I want to put the "old school" Balkenkreuz on my 229
but I've run out of decals that are close enough to scale.
Nice job! I'm not surprised by your work, I'm very impressed!

There looks nothing easy to this insignia layout.

Thanks for the tutorial.

I saw on TV that the makers of the painter's tape are now making inside angle tape for the painting of windows.

I have not been able to find them at my local hardware store.

If you can find those this would be a little easier.

I did similar way on my Hartmann black tulip repaint. Any way you do it it will take some masking work. Only way I see is you have to tape over some part you have painted like do the black first let it dry and do the white. I also use the Tamiya tape which is very nice and the blue tape I got from Lowes.
