Custom 1/18 Tiger I

Post by flyboy_fx » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:32 am

Here's a recently fixed up tiger.
I've applied woodland scenics snow as a test. I think the snow looks great!!!

I kinda wanted it to look and feel like a tiger that's been through thick snowy fields and a blizzard maybe. :D

She looks old and derelict a few years after the war , lost somewhere in the Russian steps.

Looking good! Might be worth scraping the snow/"stuff" off of the tips of the teeth in the running gear, assuming she's been rolling recently, to add that lived in look.

NICE snow and ice! captures the cold almost too well...would be afraid to stick ones tongue on the turret :D
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

@Ram, this one I would like to sell. Tiger 1s were not used in the Bulge. I plan on making a jagdpanzer and Jagdpanther for it.
