1:18 Diorama of an Eastern Boarder
1:18 Diorama of an Eastern Boarder
Hi All,
I'd like to show you a day in a troubled area. Will be interested in your feed-backs. I hope that the flag I've made is pure imagination.
First picks: No trouble for people helping "freedom fighters" of the next country getting some weapons and amunition...
Details:
Later in the day, UN reprensentatives have more difficulties (Thank you to the civilian movie heroes who played this unpleasant role).
Detail:
Just polite handshake over the gate with some foreigners...
Details:
End of the day and relief of the boarder guards:
Details:
Glad to leave this cold, burned lost place and this very small concrete staion:
Thank you for the visit: Granch and his Avatar

Well, I've just noticed that my boarder officer was probably sleepy when he stood up for the travellers: he has his goggles in the back... But it is now too late, the picture is on the web.

Thank you all.
For a lybian diorama, if PH build a 1/18 Global Hawk Drone, I could limit the scenery to a black and green IR screen, a cross drawed in the middle and a lot of smoke.
The UN off-road vehicle is a Mitsubishi Pajero. I think that japanese vehicles are more often to be seen in the middle-east area than Land Roover. And, if you want to know, the military jeep is a genuine Beijing Automobile Works 1/18 model of the BJ2S or BJ-2020, according to picks seen on the pakistan defense site. Interestingly, I've seen also the UN marked, white model of the same SUV...
